Getting Started

Quickstart

Get up and running with Avara quickly. Free trials available with no strings attached.

We’ve designed all of Avara’s products to be as easy as possible to get set up and test out. Free trials are available with no long-term contracts or minimum spend — try the platform first and decide if it fits your workflow. Follow the steps below to get set up in under a minute.

Getting started with Avara takes three simple steps:

  1. Go to your email — Check your inbox for the Avara invitation email
  2. Confirm email and set password — Click the confirmation link and create your password
  3. Get into the platform immediately — You’ll be logged in and ready to start using Avara right away

Once you’re in the platform, here’s how to get started with each product:

Click Dictate Report on the test study in the worklist to start testing dictation right away. See the AutoScribe overview for pricing and AI features.

After you accept your invitation, work through setup in this order:

  1. Settings — Configure organization details. Set up Stripe Connect if you collect patient payments, your public booking URL for online scheduling, and advertising pixels if you run Google or Meta ads to the booking page.
  2. Operations — Create appointment types, patient forms, rooms & PACS as needed, and special unavailability blocks for closures or time off.
  3. UsersInvite your team and assign permissions (scheduling, operations, PACS, patient messaging, AutoChart, and more).

From there, explore chart notes, AutoChart, the patient portal, and messaging as your workflows require.

See the Clinical Platform overview for the full product picture and Pricing for how fees work.

Connect is included with the Clinical Platform (or available standalone). Start with Connect contacts to approve partner organizations, then configure appointment types for referrals and partner booking. See the Connect overview for pricing and workflows.

Test the viewer in your browser, or follow the Viewer Integration guide to connect studies from your existing PACS or RIS. The viewer is free on the Clinical Platform.
