Inviting Users

Learn how to invite users to your Clinical Platform and configure their permissions and access levels.

Invite users to your organization from the Clinical Platform so staff can book appointments, manage operations, read imaging, document visits, and more. User invitations are managed from the platform, where you control permissions and roles for each team member.

To invite a user:

  1. Navigate to the Users tab in the sidebar
  2. Go to Invitations to access the user invitation interface
  3. Click Invite User to open the invitation form

Configure the user’s permissions before sending the invitation. You can adjust permissions later for active users as roles change.

When inviting a user, you’ll configure the following permission settings:

Users with this permission can handle day-to-day scheduling and patient-facing appointment workflows, including:

  • Booking, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments
  • Collecting and managing payments
  • Managing intake forms for appointments
  • Sharing results and confirming appointment-related tasks
  • Sharing studies with patients or other providers as part of appointment workflows

This permission is ideal for front desk staff, schedulers, and coordinators who run the appointment calendar but do not need full operational or IT configuration access.

Users with this permission can assign and reassign tasks in the worklist, keeping referral, imaging, and clinical tasks routed to the right people on your team.

Users with this permission can configure practice clinical and operational settings, including:

This permission is intended for practice administrators and operations leads who maintain how your clinic runs day to day.

Users with this permission can manage IT-focused imaging infrastructure, including:

Assign this permission to imaging IT staff or administrators responsible for PACS connectivity and reading-room setup.

Users with this permission can exchange secure messages with patients through the platform. Patients can message them in return through the patient portal.

This permission is for clinical and front-office staff who need two-way patient communication without granting broader operational or administrative access.

Users with this permission can generate radiology or DICOM study–based reports using AutoScribe.

This permission requires an NPI number and a provider role. Only validated healthcare providers can create reports, ensuring compliance with medical reporting standards.

Users with this permission can record visits and use AutoChart to automatically generate chart notes from those encounters.

Users with this permission can use the platform’s eRx framework to prescribe medications electronically.

This permission requires an NPI number and a provider role, consistent with prescribing regulations and platform validation requirements.

Admin users have full access to Can Manage Appointments, Can Manage Operations, Can Manage Worklist, and Can Manage PACS capabilities, plus additional administrative controls:

  • Inviting and revoking users
  • Configuring practice information for payouts, payments, branding, and organization-level identifiers
  • Access to HIPAA compliance logs

The admin role is intended for practice owners and senior administrators who need complete control over the organization’s Clinical Platform instance.

Invitation confirmation: Users must accept their invitation before they can be assigned work, appointments, or tasks. The invitation flow includes account setup and email verification so access is secure from the start.
