Connect PowerMic
Connect your Nuance PowerMic directly to Avara AutoScribe with our lightweight adapter. No Nuance license required.
Introduction
Section titled “Introduction”The Avara PowerMic Adapter is a lightweight utility that connects your Nuance PowerMic directly to Avara AutoScribe. It runs quietly in the background, automatically detecting your PowerMic and enabling seamless dictation without requiring any additional software licenses.
With the PowerMic Adapter, you can use your existing PowerMic hardware with AutoScribe’s AI-powered dictation. No Dragon Medical license required.
Why This Exists
Section titled “Why This Exists”Nuance’s official PowerMic software requires an active Dragon Medical license, which limits access for healthcare professionals who want to use their existing hardware with modern platforms. This creates an unnecessary barrier for radiologists and diagnostic readers who already own PowerMic devices.
We built the PowerMic Adapter to remove this limitation. You can now use your PowerMic with Avara AutoScribe freely, without monthly fees or license restrictions. Your hardware investment continues to provide value, and you get access to AutoScribe’s advanced AI-powered dictation capabilities.
