Voice Commands

Control AutoScribe hands-free with powerful voice commands for efficient dictation and navigation.

Voice commands provide hands-free control of AutoScribe, allowing you to navigate reports, classify sections, generate content, and manage your workflow entirely through speech. All voice commands are fully optional — you can mix and match voice commands with traditional navigation methods however you’d like, using whichever approach feels most natural and efficient for your workflow.

The voice commands popup is available directly in the report creation tool, listing all available voice commands organized by category. You can reference this popup at any time during report creation to quickly look up commands without leaving your workflow.

Navigate between sections and move within sections using these voice commands:

  • “next section” — Move to the next section in the report
  • “previous section” — Move to the previous section in the report
  • “go to [section title]” — Jump directly to a specific section by name
  • “section top” or “section beginning” — Move to the beginning of the current section
  • “section bottom” or “section end” — Move to the end of the current section

Navigate within paragraphs and create new paragraphs:

  • “next paragraph” — Move to the next paragraph in the current section
  • “previous paragraph” — Move to the previous paragraph in the current section
  • “new paragraph” — Create a new paragraph at the current location
  • “paragraph beginning” — Move to the beginning of the current paragraph
  • “paragraph end” — Move to the end of the current paragraph

Set severity classifications for sections using voice commands:

  • “classify no adverse” or “no adverse default” — Classify the current section as No Adverse Findings
  • “classify informational” — Classify the current section as Informational Findings
  • “classify mild” — Classify the current section as Mild Findings
  • “classify moderate” — Classify the current section as Moderate Findings
  • “classify severe” — Classify the current section as Severe Findings

Remove text that has been highlighted with the mouse or cursor:

  • “delete” — Delete the highlighted text
  • “delete that” — Delete the most recently dictated text
  • “scratch that” — Remove the most recently dictated text (alternative to “delete that”)

Complete and submit reports with voice commands:

  • “sign report” — Sign the current report
  • “confirm”, “confirm and submit”, or “confirm and submit report” — Confirm and submit the report (all three commands perform the same action)
  • “go back” — Go back from the signing/submitting step
  • “stop dictation” — Turn off the microphone (does not leave the report)

Trigger AI-generated content using voice commands:

  • “generate comparison” — Generate AI comparison for the current study
  • “generate impressions” — Generate AI impressions based on report content
  • “generate next appointments” — Generate AI follow-up appointment recommendations

Control the Omnibox and switch between modes:

  • “send content”, “send chat”, or “send message” — Send content to the Omnibox (all commands perform the same function)
  • “enable omnibox” — Enable the Omnibox
  • “disable omnibox” — Disable the Omnibox
  • “enable ask mode” — Switch the Omnibox to Ask Mode
  • “enable omni mode” — Switch the Omnibox to Omni Mode

Some voice commands are only available in standard report creation mode and are not available when creating addendums. Commands related to section navigation, classification, generation buttons, and Omnibox control are disabled in addendum mode to maintain focus on the addendum workflow.

You can use voice commands at any time during report creation, mixing them seamlessly with traditional mouse and keyboard navigation. There’s no need to use voice commands exclusively — feel free to use whatever combination of input methods works best for your workflow.
